This morning an alert appeared on my iphone saying 'im watching you. watch out'

so immediatly i searched on google to see if anyone else recieved this to no avail.

i thought nothing off it untill about 15 minutes ago another message came up saying 'im still watching you', so i took a screen shot (link below)

Flash SMS

Do a search for flash SMS. I think that's what this is. Some folks have the abilit to send these. Not sure how. It's similar to the notifications your carrier can send.

Plug in my phone and search it though my computer??

Someone is messing with you by sending a message that doesn't have a sender name. Just ignore it.

There is a recent thread on how to do it.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

Yes there was a previous post about one of these where someguy pretended to be o2 (uk) scanning for jailbroken phones.

My gawd thats pretty funny!

all i tcould think was to get a messege on my wife's phone that says "i know who you called last summer, when you were bored watching repeats of Sex and the City"

I'd admit if i saw a "i'm watching you" like that i would still be running :)

The day I got my iPhone, and didn't know what the hell I was doing, someone sent me:
C:\Apple Mobile Device\iPhone\Physical Memory Error (1200)\System memory dump\This message will dismiss in (30) seconds.
Scared the hell out of me. I should have known that it was fake because of the sheer crappyness of it:eek:
