Weird behaviour after updating to new firmware on APP 2 and AP 4 (ANC)

Both my AirPods Pro 2 and my AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation are exhibiting this weird problem after updating to the latest firmware. When I ask Siri to turn on any of the listening mode such as noise cancellation or adaptive audio, Siri tells me that that mode is already on, even though it wasn’t. It does actually switch modes, but it tells me it is already on. Previously, when you ask Siri to turn on a particular listening mode, you get the little chime and then it switches.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
