Quick question:

I just purchased a new MBP a few days ago and have it connected to my 20" Cinema Display. Here's what I'm doing to get the display ONLY on the Cinema Display:

1.)Start MBP with display connected
2.)Put MBP to sleep and close the lid
3.)Wake the MBP with the attached keyboard or mouse

This then turns off the MBP's display and the picture appears on the Cinema Display. However, when the image is first displayed on the Cinema Display, it has this very strange brownish/orange tint to it for about 2-3 seconds. It then changes back to the correct color.

Is this normal? If so, why does it do this? Anyone else's Cinema Display<-->MBP combo do this?

Thanks!

My 15' MBP does this but I dont have a cinema display.. It is noticeable on the lcd.

happens to me on my 30". It's a problem with the color profile handling, I think.

A restart fixes it, or just shut the whole machine down before plugging the monitor in and starting the computer up again.
