Weird Facebook share options

First time poster here, I hope that I am asking this in the correct place.

I have a MacBook Pro, running High Sierra; this problem occurs on Firefox and Safari, both current versions.

I am getting this weird pulldown menu when I go to share a definitely shareable post on Facebook:

My usual pulldown menu used to have Share Now (friends), Share to NewsFeed, Share to your story, Send in Messenger, Send in a Group, and Share on a Friend's Profile. This the one that I want back. I have shut down the computer, changed my FB password, all to no avail.

Please can anyone tell me how to get back my old setting.

What’s the menu show? It looks like you shared what you are expecting the menu to show.

it’s more than likely you haven’t done anything and Facebook have just updated there menu items.

The picture (it is a screen capture) shows the drop down menu choices when I go to share a post. Why is it showing a link to Twitter, though? Twitter is not related to FB like WhatsApp is. I don't have Twitter on my computer. I'm worried that my FB might have been hacked somehow? If FB had updated their share menu items, wouldn't other people be asking this question in FB help? Plus my partner, who has the same computer and browser etc., doesn't have this weird drop down menu when he goes to share.

Is there a way to uninstall and then reinstall Facebook? If I do that, will I lose all my current friends, etc. ?

This is really a big problem for me, I cannot choose an option that allows me to share a post with just my friends.

You haven’t been hacked, you can link Facebook to multiple platforms including Twitter.

Facebook updates there menus and layouts every now and then and updates different users and different times. You can’t uninstall Facebook it’s not like an application.

Have you tried using the Share Now (custom) I believe it does the exact same thing just worded differently.

Tried the Share Now (custom) and it shared the post to my Timeline...(it said, shared to your timeline)...I don't want it on my timeline, I want it in my friends' newsfeed.

Whether you post on your Timeline or Newsfeed, it will appear with the same visibility you set in either place. However, when posting from your Timeline, you have additional options not available from Newsfeed, including posting Life Events, or setting the date and time of your post. In addition, the interface for adding photos and videos is slightly different.

If you don't want to see the post on your Timeline - Use the "Share to Newsfeed" Option.

However, both are visible in your friends "Newsfeeds"
