Hi,

My Finder is exhibiting worrying behavior which I can't solve. When I visit a pathway (I'm in column view) it will often display nothing at first. I need to arrow off the selection and back again before it will display the contents. Then sometimes it doesn't display the right contents. (see screenshot) In the attached image you can see the 2 Finder windows displaying the same pathway but different contents in both folders. Incidentally the bottom Finder window is incorrect. Those contents were previously deleted (deliberately).
I've shut down/restarted & deleted the com.apple.finder.plist item & restarted but the problem persists. Has anyone had this issue before?

Is the folder by any chance located in a cloud syncing service (Google drive or Dropbox). I have often seen Google Drive "forget" to sync.

The other thing I am noticing is the title in the titlebar, it is also different.

Hi,

Yes I noticed that titlebar too.
I'm not using any syncing services
