Hi everyone. Whenever I visit this Football forum all these Flash pop ups happen and I can't close Safari until they disappear, and if I don't hurry up and close the window, they keep happening. Does anyone know whats causing this and how I can prevent it? It's very annoying.

The alert at least seems to think there's an application causing this....... any ideas on that? Checked the Console yet? Activity Monitor? Anyone else having a similar problem on the forum?

It only seems to happen on this particular website. I'm gonna see if it happens when viewing it on Chrome.
[doublepost=1452720054][/doublepost]Doesn't happen at all on Chrome. Seems to be a Safari problem.

You don't need Flash to watch YouTube videos.

Try uninstalling it. Almost nothing requires it any more, and the rare exception you can open in Chrome.

Y'know, I've been trying to figure this out, 'cause I had Shockwave Flash installed which is a security issue (as if regular Flash wasn't bad enough), but when I ran the uninstaller for that, it uninstalled Flash, not Shockwave (thanks Adobe!), but then Twitch wouldn't play. I dunno what to think anymore.

Actually this was a better way to do it. I went to Preferences>Security then clicked "Plug In Settings"

Then I selected "Ask" from the drop down menu at the bottom of the window here:
