Hi, I’ve had this problem, or at least I noticed I had it a week ago, it may have been going on for a lot longer without me knowing but oh well. The thing is that I noticed that there seems to be a problem with mi iCloud Music Library, for some reason songs randomly become grey without letting me play them, it’s always with around 5 songs in my library at any given time, the thing is that these songs are clearly available in AM as I’m able to find them and play them, just not while they’re on my Library, it’s like the link between what shows up in my library and the song on AM’s database is somehow broken and it thinks it’s not available or something like that.

This problem can usually be resolved by deleting and re adding the song, or by checking and unchecking an option on iTunes on my PC, though It doesn’t always work, sometimes nothing changes, or when re adding them they instantly become gray again. Also by disabling and re enabling the iCloud Music Library the grey songs “shuffle”, songs that were previously inaccessible are normal again, but another random set of 5 to 10 songs is grey now.

There seem to be more problematic songs, some tend to get disabled pretty often while others become grey for the first time every time I re enable the library. This also seems to be device specific, the inaccessible songs are not the same in every device at the same time, sometimes a song I can’t play on my iPad appears as normal on iTunes or my phone, sometimes the same songs appear like that on more than one device at the same time.

It seems to be a problem in the process when the individual device is accessing the iCloud Music Library, like for some reason by accessing it it fails to sync 5 or 10 songs out of the thousands I have, and it somehow has more problem with some songs more than others I really don’t know,

It’s by far the weirdest problem I’ve had with AM thus far, it’s completely beyond my comprehension, the way it appears is so weird that I don’t know what’s the problem here, it doesn’t seem to be on a specific device as all of them present the problem, but in each one it’s present in a different way so it can’t be a completely widespread thing, maybe it’s something with my Apple account or maybe it’s a widespread Apple server thing and more people have it? That would certainly calm me since I know that it would have to eventually be resolved.

If anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know, the uncertainty is driving me mad haha.
