I got my iPhone 3GS and have had strange happenings with it ever since. Here are the knowns of what it has done:

1. I opened it the first day and went to GPS to test it out, it worked perfectly. I even use it on edge and it followed me right along. A week went by working fine, then I opened it and bam it says I am in the middle of a corn field. I keep on testing it then it changes after about a month. Now it says I am on the highway a few miles away from me. Now it has changed again to a local garage/car dump. Not sure why it changes but it never moves when its in those spots.

2. Today, I was texting my friend and then I had to go so I put my phone down and left for a while. I came back to it and texted him. His first text was, "Why did you call me?" I was confused so I went to my call logs, nothing in there, I never even called him from this phone...ever.

3. Now for the one that I can't explain no matter what. About a week ago my grandpa called me. We were talking for a while and then he says, "Just to let you know, I got that text you sent me a few weeks ago but I deleted it" I'm like ok...but I never sent you a text. The best part: I have never had his number in any of my phones (we were talking on a land line) and I still don't have it to this day.

Sorry for the long post but I tried to give all the details on my possessed phone, I already did a restore and went to and Apple Store and they said the phone is in perfect working order...Any ideas anyone?

Odd  I have never heard of that situation before.

Yea, I must admit, I am a phone junky and have read almost all the problems people have had with any type of phone. This is the first time I have ever seen or read anything like this.

I wish more people would have commented about this, I really want to know why I have a possessed iPhone lol

The reason we can't or probably haven't is that we've never heard of this kind of problems before. Sorry.

You could a reset all settings and see if that fixes it. Or, you could try a DFU restore, restore from backup, and see or even do a drastic restore as new and see. I've got nothing else.
