Help! Strange keyboard problem:
G5, dual, Apple USB keyboard:
Suddenly the top two rows of keys ---numbers and letters keys---are firing
simultaneously; ie, press 1 and I get 1q press q and I get q1 and so on.
Here is what Ive tried so far with no luck:
1) unplug and replug keyboard
2) switch USB ports
3) Use keyboard viewer to determine if Mac detects keyboard; keyboard viewer shows two keys pressed when I press only one on those two rows.
4) Reset the SMU (system management unit).
5) Tried to zap PRAM but this is not workable do to the keyboard problem: pressing cmd+opt+P+R doesnt do the zap because P and R are on the top row of letter keys.
Any Ideas? Jack
