My daughter's iPhone 11 has lately been really confused about her location. When I use Find My, I can see where she is and it is accurate. But if she does something like Google a restaurant, it will suggest directions as though she was in New York, or Ohio, or some other random places. Is there a certain setting that might have been changed that started causing this? Thanks!

That happens to me sometimes. I’ve never figured it out. I try to work around it by metering more information into the search field. It would be great if there were a fix.

Assuming you're using Safari...

Does Safari have Location Services enabled?
Are you using iCloud Private Relay?

I occasionally see this sometimes when Google is determining my location based off of my private relay's IP address. If you scroll all the way to the end of the Google results, it should show you where they think you are and you can update your location there for better search results.

I'll try that. I think I use private relay and haven't noticed it but maybe she switched off location services
