Hi guys, long time lurker but first time poster here!
Sorry if my knowledge is underwhelming, but anyways here goes: I recently updated from my 6.1.3 jailbreak to 7.0.4 using a DFU restore, before restoring from a backup.
That's where a problem cropped up. If a passcode is set, upon restarting the phone, the homescreen wallpaper will show up without any icons and the screen would be completely unresponsive. Only upon holding the power button till the 'slide to power off' appears does the lockscreen reappear (following which I am able to unlock and use the phone normally).
I had this problem while in 6.1 whenever I was in a dreamboard theme, but never when dreamboard was disabled. I haven't jailbroken my 7.0.4 yet but the problem still occurs.
I've searched at length about this problem but yielded no solutions. I've tried restoring once, twice, thrice, but the problem still recurs. I'm wondering if it's a problem with permissions or perhaps if there's a file pertaining to the lockscreen I should delete. Here's hoping someone out there has successfully solved a similar problem
