It seems as if all my macs are having issues today. My mid-2007 24" iMac has an issue loving in. The screen is blank after inactivity, and I press a key on the wireless keyboard to "wake" it up. I get the login screen, and a second later, it fades back to black. If i press a key again, the login screen fades in, and then fades out.

I'm running Yosemite with 4GB ram and a 240GB SSD.

If I press and hold the power button, after power cycling the unit, it starts working fine again. It could go a few days without this happening, and it's seemingly random. I do power the unit off at night, but while I'm working it'll be on from 5am - 2pm.

I know my light sensor is broken, but I can't remember if the issue was happening before I broke it. I seem to recall that it was.
