Yeah I had the same thing with my iPhone 8 after I upgraded to iOS 14 and also added two AirTags

If I didn’t plug in the phone to a charger it would die in about five or six hours - battery would go to zero

I messed around with the location settings and turned off a lot of background settings I’m not sure which setting fixed it but it is now a lot better.

I still think it was something to do with AirTags but not sure

I removed the Air tags just to test it, same issue. I'm beginning to think its a iOS 14 issue..

I left my phone off the charger (last night) to confirm it does not drain the battery like it did a month ago - see screen shots below. Jul 16th vs Aug 15

Back in July, about a month ago, my iPhone 8 would steadily drain to zero even with "low phone use" or "no phone use" and the "show activity" was showing the "Find My" App as the top user of the battery over 50%

Maybe my case is different than yours - I sat down with a coffee on the Saturday after the below first Screen shot (jul16) and went through all my settings for each app turning off "Background App Refresh" use and also location settings in each app to off or "only when in use"

I am not sure what setting solved the battery drain - I suspected the "Find My" app or the Airtags - but now "Find My" still shows as the top user of the battery - except now lasts a lot longer when not connected to a charger. Both AirTags are 3 feet away from the iPhone at night and don't seem to affect the battery

I don't know if this helps - but it might help to check all the "Background App Refresh" settings and review/set the location to "Never" or "While using" for your apps one by one?

Your usage would make it difficult for anyone to pin point anything. When actually usage is virtually no existent it dilutes the results because any usage is exaggerated. Regardless you clearly fixed it.
