Weird Popup

Every time I restart my mac and log into my account, I get this weird window that says there is application files in the trash, and if I want to remove them from my system. I'm almost positive that this is spyware or malware, because there is a grammar error in the message, and it has a big fat yellow exclamation point. I attached the picture, showing the error. I tried looking at Activity Moniter, and I couldn't find anything related to that poppup. I don't want to click yes or no, because that program could mess up the hard drive.

Im currently running OS X 10.8.4, with almost all updates. Thanks for the help

It is probably an application you once installed or belonging to such application.
Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > your account > Login Items and either list the items listed there or make a screenshot or too and attach it/them to your next post.

Found a possible solution

I looked at mission control and found that popup window was part of a program called Task schedular. I have no idea what that program is.

Have you looked at those Login Items you were directed at?
Anyway, it probably belongs to that SpeedUpMac application, which is not really needed, unless you have to hang on Windows mentality of maintaining your Mac.

At one time, I did have Speedup Mac installed, so that's probably where it came from. Thanks for all the help!
