hi guys, i need some help..i own two macs...... an iMac G5 (isight iMac) and a Blackbook C2D 2 gb ram. i have a very fast internet connection and i'm using an Airport Express as a Wifi router.

But for some reason while the iMac navigates normally (good speed) the Macbook is SLOW.... i don't know what it is....

i've been having some trouble with the Airport lately (getting disconnected, not being able to stablish an ichat video conference for the last two weeks when i could in the past) i've had to reset the thing a couple of times in the last week, and i've also had to unplug the Ethernet cable from the Airport base because the connection seemed staled.

any idea what the Airport problem might be

But my primarely what can i do with my macbook?

it's not a problem with the macbook airport card because i use it at Uni and navigates flawlessly with great speed.

thanks for the help.

Do you have any type of wireless activity monitor installed (3rd party) such as coconut WiFi?

Do you have the Airport station running in MIXED mode? If so, try selecting it to "G-only".

Oh, and make sure the station has the latest firmware installed.
