Weird Siri Answer

i wouldn't say you're uneducated, but if you've never heard that line before i'd say you missed something this that is one of the most famous lines from his plays and is a cultural staple. its second to only "To be, or not to be..." if you ask me. but then again i'm biased since i love literature.
I love how Google is the end all of this forum. Everyone, myself included seem to just use it as a blanket answer instead of taking the 10 seconds it takes to post.

Why didn't you just ask Siri?
Actually, you would have been better off asking Evi. Tasks are for Siri. Questions are for Evi.

Good grief, not one sense of humor among you. I was being mildly sarcastic.
But, yes, you could have Googled first and found your answer almost immediately.
And yes, its sad that young people today have no desire to broaden their knowledge, and that schools have dumbed down lessons to pass idiots through the grades, so all forms of variety have been eradicated. Shakespeare isn't asking a lot. Its classic literature. Just read it. What's the worst that can happen to you? You don't enjoy it and never read it again?
I would suggest then, to use a form of sarcasm tag.

I can't speak for anyone else, but i myself didn't know that quote (sounded familiar but i wouldn't have been able to place it)
I DO remember reading that play for over 2 months in High School.
However my future schooling through college didn't lead me anywhere near literature, but that doesn't mean i've been dumbed down or the lessons i went through in high school were any less meaningful.
Wouldnt it be great if Apple worked on making Siri work instead of thinking up smart ass answers?
I find that little odd since I HAVEN'T read MacBeth and I know that quote.
I thought this is one of those common-knowledge ones. Like, I know people who know what "Use the force, Luke" comes from even though they haven't seen Star Wars. I kind of thought this quote was on that level.
I've never read nor seen that play and it's somehow in my head. So, no, I don't think anyone needs to have an interest in reading Shakespeare to have heard a thing or two about it. I certainly never have so I'm not criticizing anyone else about it either.

This. Plus, I always thought the whole "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" soliloquy by MacBeth was the take away quote from the play. I remember the scene where she said it, but not the specific line.

I took a Bill Shakespeare class in high school but I couldn't place the quote immediately. I signed up for a class because of a girl.
