Hi,

When I run the terminal command:

softwareupdate --list-full-installers

On my Mac Book Air (running Monterey) , I get a list of installers as expected but on my Mac Pro 3,1 (running Sonoma), I get nothing, e.g. it doesn't list any installers.

Both machines are on the same network.

Any idea what could be wrong?

All the Best
Dave

It will only show installers compatible with the machine. If your 3.1 is on Sonoma you run it that way unofficially. That’s probably making it impossible to determine which versions are supported. And actually none may in fact be supported that the command would be able to fetch on any machine. Not sure when 3.1s got dropped
