HI current having a weird issue, when I turn my iMac on (2013 - Running Bigsurr)

every time I turn my Mac on it brings these icons up, sometimes I don't need to click the ssd and it boots up itself but sometimes I need too.

any ideas what I can do? thanks.

Are you booting this iMac from an external drive?
If so, have you gone to the startup disk preference pane and set the external drive to be the boot drive?

Yes I have done that. still always brings them both up.

Try NVRAM reset. Then reselect startup up drive in preferences.

Older desktop Mac's had a PRAM/NVRAM battery on the motherboard. If the reset doesn't work, it could be this battery.

This is the OCLP boot loader. Did you ever install this or maybe someone else who uses the computer? It is used for installing operating systems later then the one supported natively on your Mac. You can either remove it or set it to not show the boot loader. look on the OCLP website for more info.

Yes I used it to install BigSurr, how would I go about setting it not to show I've tried everything.

thanks for the reply.
