Weird streaming app issue - Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen 2022 128GB

I am having a very weird issue with one of the live streaming apps on my Apple TV 4K.

The app is Tennis TV, which shows live ATP Tour tennis matches. All my other live streaming apps are working perfectly, it's just the Tennis TV app having this issue.

The problem is that I cannot get any stream to play on the Apple TV app regardless of whether it's live, a replay, highlights, etc. The video player just refuses to load and the screen goes blank when I attempt to play something.

Things I have tried to do to fix it:

• Updated the Tennis TV app to the latest version.
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the app (numerous times).
• Updated the Apple TV to the latest tvOS.
• Factory reset the Apple TV.
• Tried using different DNS servers on the Apple TV (including my ISP default DNS and Cloudflare 1.1.1.1).

None of these things have helped. I have contacted Tennis TV support (who are pretty hopeless), and all they could suggest was basic troubleshooting steps such as the ones listed above. They also said that they have not received any other reports of this happening to other users and they can't replicate the issue on their end.

I know that the issue has nothing to do with my account/subscription status, as the streams play fine on the Tennis TV iOS app and the website. I can also AirPlay streams to the Apple TV without any issues. This is what I have been doing for the past few months.

It's probably a long shot, but does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions about how to fix this?

probably a long shot, but have you rebooted your router?

Test with your phone hotspot. I bet it is issue with ISP DNS.

Yeah, I have definitely done this. Probably should have added it to the list of things I've tried. There's no problem with the router, as the streams work fine on all the other devices on my network.

Tried this. Same result. I'm not using my ISP's DNS. I'm using Cloudflare DNS. All other devices on my network are using the same DNS resolver, and they don't have any issues playing the Tennis TV streams. I'm confident the issue has nothing to do with DNS. Also, the streams play fine on the Tennis TV iOS app via mobile data.
