Weird thing that happened

I posted once before here. I was sound asleep, had a podcast playing over wifi, when I got woke up to "911, what is your emergency?". I was kind of taken back by that.

I said, who are you? "911, what is your emergency?". I said there was no emergency, I was listening to a podcast over wifi and was asleep.

I posted here once before that I suffer from night terrors. I was trying to sleep to a podcast. I told her I was sleeping with my iphone, and she said that happens a lot, and hung up on me.

Has anyone heard of that happening? I was just sleeping with my iphone to a podcast. I don't remember anything else happening.

Never heard of this.
Extrem longshot, could it be related to voice control or crash detection (if your phone supports that)?

If that's the case once solution could be to make sure Siri isn't listening to when our phone has the screen facing the table and see if you can adjust how 911 is dialed.
Also update your software if you haven't done so.

I had an inadvertent call to 911 once. Since then I have call with 5 presses on side button as only way to manually call 911. Call when crash detected is only other thing enabled. Never had an issue since
