I have a slight problem...much slighter now that i figured out all my pictures are still there. In finder i changed my name by the Home icon to shorten it up...it was fine, until i restarted my computer. When i got back into my desktop i noticed my dock had been relocated and background changed. I opened iPhoto and iTunes and the both asked me to agree to the End User Liscence Agreement and were empty. So i thought i had lost everything. After some looking around in finder i found my stuff. Its no longer in the left hand side under the harddrive and Network icons. All the folders under thse icons i.e. Music Movies etc. are all empty. All my stuff is now in its own folder named what i had changed my home name to. So i have to go to Mac HD>Users>Stephen. In my users folder there is a shared folder, Stephen folder and the orginal home icon with my long name under it. Seems like i have confused my mac. I cant log out and log into stephen either...i still just have a one user computer. Any thoughts.
