I still am not satisfied with the lack of certain options - i.e. cut and paste/MMS and after reading a lot I realize that 3G with the current technology and battery life is not so feasible. But the phone is a lot of fun and I am enjoying it. Had to give up 3G :( and access to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.

Cool thing is I picked a 4 gig 2 days old off of Craigs list for $380.00. Cannot beat that price. Got it Sunday night before my flight back to Puerto Rico. I think I might be the only one in PR with an iPhone right now. Working well, Edge is ok and the phone has not crashed. Did not have enough time to buy a case so i went to the AT&T store today in Carolina, PR and they had not even seen the iPhone in person. It was all ooohs and ahhhhs. I was able to find a case that fits the iPhone very well actually. I think it was for the pearl or new backberry cannot remember. Even trying to work out a deal to bring some 8gig backs with me and sell them to the AT&T guys.

I do hope some good updates are coming soon. I can live without 3G but I really do hope for a version of keynote & pages to view word/ppt. Happy so far, especially being one in a million here in the Caribbean right now.
:D

Well, if it's just viewing office documents that you're concerned about, then the iPhone is capable of viewing Word, Excel, and PDF documents that are downloaded from the web or through email. You just can't edit them. Unfortunately, there is no file browser, but if you need to have a Word document just for reading on your iPhone, you could always just email it to yourself.

I recall hearing rumors of a file browser coming through a firmware update, but we'll just have to wait to see.

Oh yes and I forgot to mention the iPhone connected fine with my Tomtom 510 GPS and uploaded all contacts, which is good.
