I told mobile me to RESET the data on Mobile Me and push my work outlook calander up.... well it just erased all of my calander events... i should have created a backup PST but I thought this would work. Its going to be a long day.....

Yeah, I had a similar problem (thread down below)... I'm afraid to go near me.com now.

Anyone else experiencing magically disappearing tasks/events in iCal after making a change through me.com?

I have been worrying about accitdently deleting everything, then it gets pushed to all the devices (or synched:mad:) and everything is deleted.

Any way to back up contacts, calendars, and bookmarks? Does Backup 3 do this?

There's an option in iCal somewhere to create a backup of all of your calendar data; I used it after my first unfortunate experience and it sent some sort of backup file to my Documents folder. Wouldn't be surprised if Address Book had a similar option.

I'd look to see exactly where/how, but I'm on a PC at work.

iCal has a backup option, and Address Book has an Archive option. Just looked...thanks for the info, because with all this nonsense, I might need it.;) I've never backed up because .Mac was always my backup...not anymore.
