I noticed over the weekend that if you try to load Wells Fargo online banking https://online.wellsfargo.com with the iPhone, it tells says that the web site is "temporarily unavailable". However, the web site seems to be convinently available every time I try to load it from a computer. Wells Fargo's web site used to work just fine with my iPhone. Why do they hate the iPhone? :p

works for me, just go to wellsfargo.com; also try their new wf.com (you have to sign up for it under your wellsfargo account, it's a low load website)

On a related matter when I go to bankofamerica.com, I get forced onto their 'mobile' site instead of the full site. Anyone know how to bypass this? Their full site has features the mobile site doesn't (transfer funds to other bofa accounts)

My BofA mobil address is:www.bofa.mobi
(that may be a re-route if accessing the site via the iPhone)

Regular is:https:sitekey.bankofamerica.com/sas/signonScreen.do

I think I just navigated to the right place using my regular Safari bookmark and then saved it as an iPhone bookmark. If I recall, it took a couple trys due to the State info needed to get to the nice clean screen.

Works for me.

Great tip, thanks. I never navigated to the mobile site, it would just forward me there, but it looks like this can be bypassed by going directly to the login page. Thanks again.
