I'm thinking of replacing my 11 with a 15 and wanted to check the sizes in person at one of Edmonton's 2 Apple stores this morning.

I was surprised to discover that the 15 is smaller than my 11, and that the Plus/Pro Max is only a tiny bit larger than my 11 (basically same width and Pro Max a bit taller). At what point did Apple shrink their base phone size?

Was measuring phones next to a family that wanted to buy 3 Pro Max and were told the only Pro Max phones in stock in Edmonton were 1 TB models in the natural titanium. Otherwise, two weeks to a month for more stock.

iPhone 12 significantly decreased the size of the base iPhones, in part because of the more boxy design and in part due to switching to OLED displays.
