Hi

I have recently upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks. In Mavericks I used to connect to my work network using the 'other network' option and selecting network type of 'WEP Enterprise' (as attached)

The 'WEP Enterprise' option is no longer available in Yosemite. Is there another way I can connect to the 'WEP Enterprise' network at work?

(It's a big organisation so no way of making any network changes.)

Thanks

Phil.

It is now called Dynamic WEP in OS X Yosemite.

That's what I thought but it won't connect using WEP dynamic. I installed Mavericks again on a separate partition to check it today and could connect with no problem. I just cannot connect using Yosemite and WEP dynamic.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Phil,

I would also put a call into your IT section. If they are still using WEP, they might as well leave the network open as it is very easy to hack. Most companies are dropping it as it is and moving towards WPA2. Talk to them and see what they say.
