Compusa has Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB Hard Drive for 199.00 after rebates. Any reason it wouldn't be a good choice for the new Mac Pro?

By the time I would pay shipping it's the same price, Plus have to wait on it for days! I can walk in to Compusa pick it up and carry it out!

You shouldn't spam the message boards trying to get a sale.

I just wanted to know if the Westren Digital drive was compatible with a mac pro.

Just tryin' to inform you of a better and cheaper solution...but yeah, it'll work, but I've had far too many WD drives fail on me, I'd never buy them again. Plus,* you might get lucky IF you get your rebates back. I got my Seagate for $186 shipped.
