Anyone have one of these?

Could i just hook this up to my Airport Extreme and use my 2010 MBP/ATV for all my media streaming needs?
i am also considering a mac mini as a base station with an attached HD.

I have the 2 terabyte version and could not find a way to get the Apple TV to stream directly from the NAS without jail breaking and using XBMC (which works well, even if it makes the ATV kind of annoying to use). It's too bad, because my Xbox 360 could stream from it with no setup.

Have you ever tried upgrading the hard drives in your 2tb model? Micro center has it for $139 and I was thinking about picking one up.
