Ok, I am buying a 2.2GHz, I can careless about Penryn at this point. http://www.unrv.com/empire/struggle-of-the-orders.php

Now, it is open box...does that mean that it is used in anyway? When I hear open box I think the person opened the box, and didnt want it so they returned it. Anybody ever buy OB on MacMall?? I buy stuff of MM all the time, but never OB.

WOAH...my bad, I was doing my Latin homework and I copied that by accident....----> here is the real link http://www.macmall.com/macmall/shop/detail.asp?dpno=7264535&Redir=1&description=Apple-15.4%22%20MacBook%20Pro%20-%20Intel%20Core%202%20Duo%202.2GHz%20Notebook%20(Open%20Box%20Product,%20Limited%20Availability,%20No%20Back%20Orders)-MacBook%20Pro

That is one of the more bizzare links that have been posted today. I'm sure the Plebian Tribunes could care less about Penryn MacBook Pros, too...

HILARIOUS!!!! A+++++ would read again!

AFAIK open box means someone ordered it, opened it, and played with it and sent it back. its not refurbish/reconditioned because their are no faults (ie everything works) if lets the the screen didn't work they shipped it back got a new one and apple/who ever replaced the broken product and by law apple/the manufacture as to label it as refurbished.
