Specifically, the ":" and the ";".

Does anyone have a link to any of the non-QWERTY keyboard layouts that are accessible? I mean, I know there's a numbers screen (there has to be), but what else is on it?
 
Well seeing as it has iWork available, they could well have a symbol popover for such things
æ - hold down the letter A on the iphone
œ - hold down the letter O on the iPhone
ø - hold down the letter O on the iPhone
ç - hold down the letter C on the iPhone
å - Hold down the letter A on the iPhone

If you want the greek alphabet much - make yourself a note and copy paste? ;)

So that leaves
¬,˚, ∆, Ω, , ∑, ™,® §, ©, ∞ ...
I'm sure someone can be resourceful enough to use something like pastebot, till an OS update...

Greek characters can be used by enabling the greek keyboard under settings.

Honestly this is nothing to worry about. I am sure Apple will expand the character set on the keyboard for the iPad
