What about reachability on the X?

Maybe I missed it, but how will they do that on the iPhone X? With current phones you double tap on the home button to bring down the top of the screen. Are they getting rid of that too?

A very good question! I use that feature all the time. Most people wont know how much they miss it until they get the X.

Yeah, seems like they’re eliminating it for the X. They already have eliminated the ability to bring down the notification window without actually using the top of the screen when using reachability for iOS 11. Not to mention, you have to reach in the top right hand corner of the X to get control center.
