I'm just wondering what Apple is going to do with any new "Get a Mac" ads. At the end they usually show an iMac (or MacBook) with the Apple logo and 'Mac' and it looked so nice.

But now that the new iMac is aluminum, it won't go nicely with the white background. I guess they are only going to show the Macbook because that's the only thing that's white.

It would be good if they stop doing those Mac vs PC ads, those are among the stupidest ads I've ever seen(and yes, I'm a mac user)

It wouldn't surprise me if they were done with them, unless I missed some there havn't been any new ones for a while now.

I think the "Get a Mac" ads are going to go dormant for a while. I think that for the next few months, all the ads will be iPhone ads only, and then when Leopard comes out, we might see some new ones that show us all the cool things Leopard can do. Just a guess. However, I was a fan of the old ads; they were entertaining.

I enjoyed them, but I agree that it's time to come up with something new! I hope CalBoy is wrong about only seeing iPhone ads for a while, that little jingle is starting to annoy me. :p

They did pick a tune that has the ability to stay in your head didn't they? Now everytime I hear the first few notes of that music, I know it's an iPhone ad, and I get mad that I can't have one:p

I think the reason Apple generally goes with only one ad campaign at a time is to ensure that consumers don't become overwhelmed. We'll have iPhone exposure for the next few months, and then when new things come out, consumers who aren't in the know about Apple products will get to know the "other side" of Apple.
