Games, web-browsing and social media scrolling while listening to music/podcasts and video steaming apps tend to drain the battery most for me.

How quick can you kill a phone with this ?

Will any phone ever be able to handle 12 hours of this constantly without dying before hand ?

Games... i notice games kill the battery on my 12 Pro Max faster than Google Maps...

Curious how quick ?

6 hours, 5 hours... ?
5-6 hours? Nah... 3 hours max while playing Diablo Immortal. But i was using cellular signal not wifi. Maybe if i used wifi it would last a bit longer.

But i was also using best settings.

Cool.

I bet the iPhone got really hot too. I am guessing.

Stupid question but did the phone like go to 1% or 0% battery (die) in 3 hours ?

Not bad 15% still left.

What the point of playing games on a phone if it eats battery for breakfast ?

When your next to a power source/outlet ?

Depends on the phone... my Poco M3 Pro could easily do 5 hours...but with moderate settings.

Depends on what you are doing but for me browsing and scrolling social media, listening to music and other daily activities with low brightness is always get me through the day even If im on cellular of WiFi.

Streaming Sirius XM causes my iPhone to use more battery than just playing music from my library.

In my country, it’s the online banking apps that take lots of battery juice.

For what I do, FaceTime is my biggest battery user. It uses about 15% of my battery for about 1 hour of use Every Sunday.

For me here are my Top List using my iPhone 14 Pro Max

1. Heavy Gaming - Such as Genshin Impact, PUBG, Call Of Duty, Mobile/League of Legends 5v5.. Other PPSSPP Games or PS3/PS4 emulator, .tends to drain the most of all time. All Performance, Efficiency Core, Video card, and Ram will work 70-100% on this device makes device melt.. my iPhone 14 only last 4 hours playing nonstop either of this games especially Genshin…
2. Moderate Gaming - Such as Roblox, Asphalt Nine, Clash of Clans.. however this makes my iPhone last 7 hours
3. Light Gaming - Such as Candy Crush, Fruit Ninja, Puzzle games and Etc..

4. Editing - Videos or GarageBand, 4K editing or something like that… a good 9 hours from my phone.
5. Web Browsing - Just like gaming it uses ram and cores To load images, ads and informations or data’s.. i think I have spent 12 hours from just browsing from 100 - 1% after it shut down.
6. YouTube/Netflix/Video watching - Doesn’t really drain battery for me.. especially when you’re only watching 720p or below. I watch a series from Netflix nonstop and Its 13 hours overall.
7. Microsoft Word/Excel - involves lot of typing but doesn’t really affect battery as it’s mostly text.. no animations or whatsoever.
8. Reading iBook or Manga - Just like YouTube it’s already there so the ram and cores don’t have to work that much..
