I just got my :apple:TV yesterday, but I've been having problems sorting my TV shows.

On :apple:TV, for each TV show, there is a list of every episode from newest to oldest. How do make it so it's "(Show title) > Season (x) > (Episodes from oldest to newest.)

The pictures below shows how my shows are organized in iTunes (Season # and Episode # are put in too.) Everything looks normal to me in iTunes (if it's not, or if I am missing any information for proper sorting, please tell me what I'm missing.)

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

On the current software version, I don't think you can. I have seen other posts in these forums that say it will sort by season in the next version - Take2, hopefully due out this week.

Well for that episode the of Family Guy™ the Episode ID is 101 I.E Episode 1 of s
Season 1

I hope so... When Jobs said "two weeks", did he mean this tuesday? That's what the :apple: store employees are saying (yes, I know they aren't pre-informed of anything.)

Your are right, :apple: store employees usually don't have any better info than the rest of us - sometimes less.:)
I am hoping for Tuesday.

I'm hopeful the New ATV Revision will fix this, version 7.6 of Itunes has to a degree. It used to be you'd have to Title your Shows something like:

"Dexter Season 1"
"Dexter Season 2"

If you wanted them seperate in the Itunes software, not the Software recognizes the Season input and splits the content accordingly, but the ATV Software ignores it putting it into a Gigantic list.

Also, fill in the Artist (Fuzzy Door) and Album Artist (Twentieth Century Fox Television), year, track number (episode number), and the Album in the form of Name of show, Season No.

TEG

sorry to get off subject here, but do you mind telling me how you already have season 6 of curb?? I had to pre-order it from amazon and it just now shipped...and you already have it in your tv show library?? I don't think it's sold in itunes....

One word... Lostify

I've been tagging all my Seinfeld episodes with Lostify, which provides a tag for season number, production code, episode, and x of y (e.g. 1 of 23). When they are imported into iTunes after Lostify tags them, each season is grouped separately, in chronological order. I tried MetaX, which is ok, but Lostify is more user friendly and uncluttered.
