Something that can play MKV files with full support for multiple audio and sub tracks. Will never happen, but I can dream...

I was told about this app for BB called smart wifi I think? It uses GPS to toggle your wifi on and off based off of locations that you input. Would love this. Amazing that there are a bazillion apps and not one that does this.

Wouldnt that just mean your location has to constantly be on and just kill your battery?

I don't think apps are allowed to access core functions like WiFi that way... I think all they can do is put up a notification asking if you want to turn on WiFi. At least, that would explain why there's no app to put WiFi controls right on the homescreen...

Is there a Mac Rumors App for iphone 4 ?

Yep! I'm on it right now

Dunno if this is already there but I would like an app in the appstore that allows you to hide your status bar and dock without having to jailbreak.

Very OCD / Hate "clutter" ;)

I tried looking for it in the app store but nothing came up when i did a search for Mac Rumors.

Google Navigation. That's one of the few things I miss from Android so far.

Ooooh yeah I forgot thats one of the major advantages that Android has over the competition.

GPS turn by turn directions with updated traffic, voice commands, and route alternatives all for free? Sign me up! :)

Great catch dmbjeff.

I would absolutely love for Apple to release an iPhoto app to the iPhone. I use it daily on the computer, but would probably use an app version more.

This is possible with SBSettings on Cydia

Maybe it doesn't access GPS. Here is the link http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/4643

I manually switch it on and off when a leave the house and come home. Sometimes I just end up using 3G even when at home. Why not, I have unlimited but you would think the carriers would want something like this to save bandwidth. Even make it free. Am I wrong?

I'd LOVE ability to play MKV and output hdmi to TV @ 1080p..
I'd get iphone in a second if it did that.

The seems like the most impossible thing to do by any method. I download these MKVs and end up renting them anyway lol.

A robust enterprise email app...<snip>

Yeah - great suggestion. Something other than the paltry built in iOS app.

Some type of POPmail app [I'm stuck in the dark ages] that supports secure connections (465, 995) -- with the option of IMAP. Plays nicely with MS Exchange servers, etc.
