what are good USB C monitors for mac with HDR, alternatives to Studio monitor?

Looking for good monitor with USB C connection to use with Mac studio, must have HDR. looking for cheaper option to Studio Monitor

I have been using this monitor with my M1 air for about 2 years now and it has been great. The HDR performs well, even when compared to mid-high range TVs in the house.

The only monitor which I have seen that has a similar quality display is the LG monitor. Cheaper construction though.

If display quality isn't your prime concern there are lots of options, though not sure about HDR.

OP specifically said HDR is a requirement - neither LG 5K nor ASD support HDR.

OP: There are tons of HDR monitors with USB-C connection that will also power laptop (if you want). Really budget dictates the choice - models at all different levels. Would help to know your budget, preferred size, resolution and intended use. Also lots of threads discussing this for you to review.

LOL. Agreed. But you selectively chopped off the part of my comment about needing to know budget, intended use, etc.
