Restored via iTunes from 7.0.4 to 7.0.6...JB, then restored from itunes backup. Half of my apps are stuck on "waiting" and it left out homescreen apps like FB, DB, Tweetbot, Skype,etc....really the main ones i use. I am thinking I need to redo this. Can I just reset all settings and then restore from icloud backup?

Just reboot your phone and give it some time. Your device can only download 3 applications at a time so it takes a while.

If it's truly not progressing install 7.0.6 again, but this time try restoring from your backup before you jailbreak.

Ok, so reset all settings, restore from backup and then JB?

Yeah I was curious why you jailbroke first. I have always restored from backup prior to jailbreaking

Ahhhh..good question. I finally got apps downloading but I have had to go manually grab most of them and will then have to rearrange back into folders...wondering if i should just start over and restore from iCloud so I dont have to do any of that. One other question, if I want to ensure a full backup is available via icloud can I go in, delete the most recent back up and then do another full one? Will that work?

If you're gong to start over, may as well restore with iTunes rather than just reset all settings.

As for your backup question, couldn't you just make a new backup without deleting the current one? That way you would have both in case something is screwy with one of them.

Everytime I have used iTunes to backup my restore process is very manual. I had to go in and re-download all apps from itunes and reposition each one.
As far as iCloud backups go, each time you do a backup it isnt a full backup...there are multiple ones. I have backed up before just before a restore and then chose the most recent backup only to find that it didnt have all data in that back up. Apple has admitted that they are "working on this" but that's how it is today. My workaround would be to delete any backup in iCloud and then backup again...that would create a full backup to which I could restore from. Now that I've spent two hours recreating my environment it's pointless but thinking about the future now.
