I'd like to see what creative things you guys have come up with to make your daily typing more intuitive and easy :D

cus = because
BIIU = busy is it urgent
Drv = driving (hence call or don't bother or you won't get response)

That's pretty much it really. For all others, I just use Siri which works flawlessly with my voice, which is composed of over 6-7 different accents (yep - it's a very unique accent).

pq = por que
vd = verdad
(8) = ♫
-- = ¬¬
omw = on my way

I also have some shortcuts for emojis like D: and :$

besides email shortcut @@, I use the shortcut system to fix some unusual words the German dictionary on the iPhone thinks are the most common when they are not.

for instance, it constantly replaces "I drive" (ich fahre) with the noun ferry (ich Fähre).

I have got no idea what great mind had the idea that you'd use a word like ferry more often than the verb drive.

I have my autocorrect turned off so I can butcher words at will, but use shortcuts for all my common contractions (can't/won't/don't etc.). Constantly adding to my list. :rolleyes:

I added a few shortcuts to my son's iPad one night!

he changed his pass code after that. Can't imagine why.

Tons of shortcuts here. Most are Japanese names (coworkers, station names, etc) and I have shortcuts for several of my email addresses. Plus a few geek ones, which I just realised Maverick autocompletes, too! Never knew that. :D So yeah - p h s = Photo Stream and s p h s = Shared Photo Stream (got tired of having to type that out for my iPad-using grandparents) and of course "iOS" capitalises correctly, as does "iDevice" ...

I have none. I always forget about this feature, then I stumble across it again and tell myself I should really set up some shortcuts....and then I forget again.

A lot of websites use your e-mail address when you sign in to them so I have 2 of the e-mail addresses I use often to sign in to web pages setup as a shortcuts.
