Apple TV What are some of the benefits of jailbreaking an ATV2.

Hi, I just got an ATV2 and I wanted to know what are some of the benefits of jailbreaking an ATV2. I have only windows computers if that make a difference on any of the features, and is it possible to stream stuff to it besides iTunes only? Also is there a way to make the youtube app stream at 480p rather than 720p, because it take a long time to stream videos. Also which guide do you guys suggest.

Ok, I was looking at some, but I don't know what firmware I'm on. Since I just updated it, am I on ios5?
