so, i do a lot of work on my Intel MacBook Air using macOS Numbers.
but upcoming macOS Sequoia won't be supporting my Intel MacBook Air.

i would prefer to get a new iPad Pro 2024 instead of a new MacBook Air.
except for Numbers, all of my needs can be equally or even better done on an iPad, given that there is a great new Magic Keyboard Pro.
but, i need to think about how different it is to use iPadOS Numbers vs. macOS Numbers.

i have sometimes used iOS Numbers on my iPhone to change some simple data within my Numbers files. but its a painful process, and i dont like it.
but to be honest, i haven't really changed my muscle memory to make it easy to use Numbers on iOS. so some of that pain is probably just not wanting to learn and remember where everything is.

my impression is that its much more difficult to use iPad Numbers than macOS Numbers.
does anyone have enough knowledge of both to make some comparisons?

thanks in advance.

Your current machine does not stop working and will still receive security updates. I had no problem using older pages/numbers on High Sierra, while also working on the same documents with latest pages/number on ipad/MBA. So don't panic and wait till you are ready. My impression is that, even with keyboard+trackpad, productivity in general on iPad is clumsy at best.
