I installed Windows 10 on my 4,1 (flashed to 5,1), and everything except for the sleep function works. If I go into the 'Start' menu and select the power options, sleep is non-existent—indicative of a missing driver (but I don't know which).

I installed the latest Bootcamp drivers and was able to get basically everything else to work. What is the deal with sleep?

Thanks,
-MDD

On my 2010 cMP I installed Windows 10 in Legacy boot mode on its own SSD but I have never tried the sleep mode. I always leave it running if Windows is up for seti@home or switch back to OS X or Linux when I am done gaming. Next time I boot Windows 10 I will check it and let you know.

There's a thread on the Windows on Mac forum on how to force install the latest Win10 Bootcamp package on a CMP (bypassing the model ID lock)

I installed that and then followed up with Driver Booster to fill in all the other obscure chipset drivers. Sleep works!

I found out that sleep works if I pop in my GT 120 and run a monitor off of it; however, with my RX 580, the sleep function doesn't even appear. I think this card's drivers are screwy. Myself and other users have also experienced our RX 580s crashing, under load. AMD is awful at making drivers. Can't believe a company that's been in the game this long is still making GPUs whose drivers don't allow them to work properly. Thank God this card is stable in OSX.
