What are the chances of a single quad-core chip in an iMac?

I was just wondering if there was a chance that the top end iMac might acquire a quad core chip in the near future to replace the Core 2 Extreme chip.

What to do you think the likelihood of that happening is? Perhaps in the next round of updates.
