Hi, I am considering to run three 4K TVs at 60Hz in extended screen mode using a Mini 2. What are the cons doing that besides possible need to reinstall the software whenever MacOS is upgraded? Is the lag in moving windows around noticeable? I read that each additional display takes some RAM. In this case, is it better to get a 16GB configuration rather than a 8GB configuration?

What's a Mini 2? Do you mean a Mac mini with M2 chip?

4K is only 32 MB of RAM.

How often do you need to move windows?

If you need three displays and you have a Mac that doesn't support 3 displays, then what choice do you have?

Yes, Mac Mini with M2 chip.

I need to move windows and the contents within quiet often. How bad is the lag?

In the past, some said that rotation of the screen(s) is not allowed. How about now?

If the budget allows for it, pick a Mac mini with an M2 Pro that natively supports 3 external displays.
Seems like too much of a requirement for you than to rely on tinkering solutions. Maybe a refurbished one ($200 off)?
Keep in mind, a 4K@60 Displaylink adapter is ~$100.
