What are these numbers in tweetie 2?

When You look at someones profile, you see their name, then their username in the @xyx format, and then under that there is a number (Seems to be in the millions) following the # sign. What is that number?

In addition to your username, you are assigned a number as well (à la ICQ).

That would be your user number. Started a 0 or something and each user that signs up gets the next number. I was one of the first million.
