26" Acer monitor. my mb has been very good, so santa's going to be good to it.

it tickles my twinkies.

and YES, i do know it'll have to run as vga instead of dvi to get 1920x1200. maybe acer will come out with a fix soon, but i don't see that running vga will be any problem.

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING YOUR MACBOOK FOR XMAS?

A pretty, little, white HP printer that I found for $30. Can't beat that.

I've been Hooking up my guitar and recording some little tunes. I think that's enough for my little MBP.. I know she's enjoying the melody.. ha :D

No problems with my MX Revo or my VX Revo on my MBP. What problems would those be?

Well.. I have both too.. I hate that on my vx I have to turn the mouse around to change the scroll setting.. But I also hate the idea of clicking down on the middle mouse like the MX.. I think they should have a little switch on the back or side of the mouse.. I'm an animator and designer.. And most programs require the middle mouse click. On my windows partition I have to close down the program to get my middle click. In Mac I haven't figured out a way to get it to middle click. I set it up in the settings.. Ctrl + Click and it just didn't work... Maybe that was my fault.. But still my point is that it should be a seperate switch button.. The side little flip thing is too hard to push and maybe could use some work.. But I like using it for the Windows flip.. I like both mouses tremendously.. They feel great to work with and run smoothly.

i bought my MBP the apple USB modem for xmas, to help me with my work when I'm in remote locations... Although next year I'll probably just use the local mobile ph network (3g/next gen) and get 3Mb/s or so instead.

If you have a cell phone with a USB/Bluetooth connection you could have used that as your modem.

I'm going to get some dial-up service so I can do exactly what I said above. Unlimited local calls on my cell phone, so theres no problem there :)

Since I got my MBP a couple weeks ago, I don't know if this applies, but I'm giving it a home :)

Great topic but you know you can't say X-mas. You have to say "Holidays" - just kidding of course.

Not sure. Might toss my netgear router for an airport express. Maybe Logic Express 7 too.

I already gave it alot pre-christmas. I doubled its memory and bought and incase sleeve for it. The only probable thing for me to do now is give it a thorough clean/shine and maybe get a BT mouse for it.

A well earned break. It's been working damned hard this last ten weeks as my hookup to the interactive whiteboard in my classroom.
