What are you syncing with iCloud?

Due to a contact list sync disaster with MobileMe a while back I've been playing it real close with iCloud.

At the moment I have only Calendar appointments synced over the ipad/iphone/Win7 PC universe.

I may do Notes next as I see how well the calendar function is playing over iCloud.


And this time I have been exporting my Outlook contacts monthly into its own separate file instead of a few times a year.

So it seems I cannot sync Notes without creating a "free @me.com email address"

what the HELL is the point of that?

Well I created a new me.com address since trying to re-use my inactive one was making me furious.

Still no sync on the ipad of my iphone notes.


Not looking good for icloud

I use everything but mail. The mail sync is atrocious in icloud. Until they fix the whole "delete emails across all devices" issue I'm not using it. What's the point after all?

I use all but notes and email. Both of those are synced to my Gmail account.

You had to create an email because notes are stored in email, not calendar. You're thinking of reminders which are part of calendar syncing.
