What are your long term plans?

Hi,

I was wondering what everyone's long term plan was regarding Apple Music. While I quite like the service and its convenience at the moment, I don't know if I want to keep paying for it in the upcoming years (5-10+).

Opinions on this?

I don't think anyone can predict what music delivery will be like in 10 years.

I do the family plan. I currently have my wife and older daughter in it. In a couple years my younger one will be able to use it. $15/month is less than what is spend on music if I was buying everything, especially with young kids who constantly like new songs and artists but move on very quickly from them.

Works for us now. Part of that is the Siri feature we have on our phones (family plan) and now the Mac. Hard to say where tech will go and whether I stay in the Apple ecosystem in the future, but very happy with the service right now.
