I've seen liquid glass at it's best moments, where I just stop and think 'wow'
i've also seen it bug and look even worse than m3 expressive(it's tough to look THAT bad')
some people hate on it while others shower it with compliments
what is the general ratio?
BTW I am posting this on my kindle coloursoft and my dad has a 16 pro max with my mom having a 17PM

I'm mostly neutral to leaning towards not liking it. I CAN'T STAND the shifting glowing borders around icons and widgets, however.

It doesn't add features, or make my phone more useful or user-friendly. There is a ton of wasted space.

i don't really care, it's not that big of a difference and I can still use everything like before. Some rounded corners look a bit weird and I don't like that they waste more space than before.
This! The whole „Liquid Glass“-phrase has been overhyped by Apple as usual on WWDC, the the end, it isn’t much different than it was before. Just UI, not going crazy about it in any way.
But the waste of space is something I really dislike on 26, mostly has nothing to do with Liquid Glass, just oversized empty space (like it the settings app for example).

I would kill for Material 3 Expressive on an iPhone. Best looking OS I have used in a decade.
Not covinced. The difference between it and Material You is tiny in most apps and UI components. My friend at school has a pixel 9 pro, so I have first hand experience.

Wife has a Pixel and I think the OS look and feel blows away iOS 26..it's not even close.

I would still take iOS 18 personally, but when it comes to 26, Apple done goofed'.

I quite like it. Something different that works for me. I actually like 26. I am on 26.2 for my iPhone and both iPads, and it is probably my favorite so far. I go all the way back to the first iPad, and iPhone 3. I had a couple iPod Touches before my first iPhone so I'm very familiar with iOS from the beginning.

Tinted slightly green to go with background.

I generally am a fan. Nothing more to say, I like it.

I think the translucency is not a massive difference, but the slicker animations and emphasis around concentricity are pretty big upgrades.
Now just fix the bugs!

I tried it when it got released and reverted back to iOS 18. I actually liked the new updated look. I took a performance hit on my iPhone 13 which gave me flashbacks to iOS 7 running on my iPad 2/3.
