My top 5 are Chorus, Appolicious, FastMall, Scramble and Shazam.

Chrorus is a great way on the iphone to find other apps you may not have known about, same with appolicious.

FastMall is an incredible new platform experience that lets a user shake their iphone for the nearest restroom at many shopping malls along with turn by turn guidance inside the mall, gps remember where you parked, shopping lists, full community and crowdsourcing along with getting deals.

Scramble is tons of fun to play vs other word maniacs like me online. (Id put scrabble here too).

Shazam is just incredible technology, highly recommend.

Happy New Year 2010 everyone!

:apple:

Beejive - THE best IM client
Documents to Go Premium - THE best office suite app
Tweetie 2 - THE best Twitter client
Remember The Milk - THE best task management app
Fantasy Football Manager - THE best fantasy football (soccer) app

[app]Pocket Informant[/app] - Awesome event and task manager! It has made seeing and managing my schedule and todos easy. Intuitive interface. Constant updates has taken this from decent to just awesome!

[app]Uniwar[/app] - My most played game. It's been updated a few times to allow for more balanced maps, races, and less cheating. The best online multiplayer strategy game!

[app]Active Money Pro[/app] - Fast and easy entry of transactions, multiple account support, proper currency support, and great graphs. After having tried a lot of finance apps out, this is the best for my needs.

[app]Fluent News Mobile[/app] - Free! It gathers news from a lot of sources such as CNN, BBC, NewsWeek, Time, USA Today, etc, and displays just one article on a story, but allows for seeing more articles from other sources on the same story at the click of a button. It caches stories for offline reading. The subscription is worth it. Ad free news and the ability to turn off sources (goodbye Fox!) and get more from other sources.

[app]Inotia 2[/app] - the first RPG to keep me interested. It proves that the world of RPGs will just get a whole lot better.

Only Game & Entertainment Applications:

1. Harbor Master ($0.99 Updated Oct 21, 2009): great game, recommended
2. The Secret of Monkey Island ($ 3.99): historic game
3. Crazy-Sounds ($0.99 Released Dec 16,2009): simple application, but really funny
4. Uno ($4.99 Update Sep 08, 2008): just a little expensive, but always entertaining
5. Cartoon Defence ($0.99 Update Dec 23,2009): strange game, particular

The FAB Five

These are not necessarily my favorite (depends on the word usage) but I would have to say these are the 5 MOST USED Apps on MyPhone.

1) Tweetie 2 Use multiple times a day and is the cleanest and easiest to use of all the twitter apps.

2) Facebook Self explanatory...the only facebook app that does what its suppose to do. Could use a few additions in the future.

3) BillMinder The best bill reminder app available. Just a plain simple bill tracker and reminds you with push that you have some bills to pay and then keeps track of historical data for reference. Has saved me hundreds of dollars in late fees.

4) ooTunes The ONLY radio app that combines many apps into one and allows me to listen to ANY radio station from around the world, access my iTunes library from anywhere and even watch that video or TV show I forgot to load. Now even stores radio shows so that you can listen at a more convenient time. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE of ALL Apps!

5) i.TV My TV Guide, Celebrities Guide and now using push, reminds you when your TV shows or a movie is coming on.

Honorable Mention cause I use daily is: ClockIn Simple app that tracks my work hours to complete my time sheets and I use it when working on client computers to get accurate time for billing & Now Playing The most simple Movie Guide and DVD release app. Have been using for over two years now.

TomTom U.S. & Canada - $69.99
Geocaching - $9.99
EasyTrails GPS - $2.99
Starbucks Mobile Card - free
USAA - free

Edit to include prices

Would you all mind editing to add the prices for the applications you have named...

To future posters, would you mind including prices if you know them.

I took the time to post the links...so you can see the price for yourself. Others are doing the same, I am not going to sit here and do all of your work for you.;)

In no particular order:

1.WhatsApp - Thanks to this app, since my girlfriend and I both have iPhone's, we use this to text one another, and I save $15/month only having the $5 texting plan.

2. BillMinder - Speaks for itself. Consolidates all my bills into this app so I don't forget to pay any.

3. SimplyTweet - I used Tweetie for quite sometime, but then I found SimplyTweet. I'm a big fan of the push notifications when getting an @mention.

4. Facebook

5. The Weather Channel - The free app is all I need to get more detailed weather information that the native weather app doesn't provide.

Thre is so many that I use, but the ones I use the most are.

1. NAVIGON NA
2. Geocaching App
3. Logmein Ignition
4. TritBird Premium
5. Where To?

1. Evernote (3.2) - simply the best - got better - becoming more and more like the desktop version on your iPhone - complete offline storage and well it has been said already - Evernote is simply incredible!!!!

2. TomTom (U.S.A.) - $50 - a great easy to use nav app :)

3. Dropbox - like Evernote a great app that is now on my iPhone :) !

4. Pzizz (Sleep and Relax) $10 each - these are two of my most anticipated apps to ever reach the iPhone - both well worth the money and both put me to sleep instantly - generating new sleep tracks on the spot - not a repeat of what you heard the last time! - simply great and I love em!!

5. Tweetie 2 - a great app that interfaces with Twitter :)

Honorable Mentions - 1Password Pro, Sketches 2, Logos, Night Stand, OmniFocus (I think its a 2008 app :) )

Audio Apps! - NPR News, TWIT, RSS Player, K Love, TII, Mac OS Ken, IMP Live

Great apps so far!

I really like the bing app where u can speak your search.

Im using fastmall today when I get to the mall with the kids. Its such a fun experience! :apple:

Yowza is another great app that should somehow combine with fastmall.

Onto the sales!

:cool::eek::):p

1. Need For Speed Shift - best racing app on the iPhone hands down.

2. Fieldrunners - many hours spent on this app.

3. AIM - stay connected with internet friends.

4. Monopoly - my favorite board game, now can be played anywhere!

These are the few apps that I still feel the need to be on my phone, every other one just either bores me or doesn't have very good replay value.

Shopper deserves honorable mention. Very helpful with remembering what I need when shopping, and it now adds some sale prices from an online network when I add items. If all stores had their entire inventory of prices online, this could revolutionize shopping, but that's a tedious and costly endeavor.
