What Back Up is on my MAC ?

Hello Friends, I am using iCloud to backup my iPhone and using Airport Time Capsule to backup my Mac, but I found 293 GB of Backup is showing in my Macintosh, what is that ?

When your Time Capsule are not within reach, Time Machine creates local snapshots:

They are consider available space, because they are automatically deleted, if more storage are needed.

You shouldn't need to as they will be automatically removed, if you need the space. But anyway:

The disable command should start doing that after a moment.

They are stored in a hidden + protected folder ("/.MobileBackups"), where you should not try to delete them manually.
